Corpo

The idea was born of a vision. Of a desire. To restore the connection to nature — to rediscover it — with our bodies serving as the conduit. A body that, in nature, has long since ceased to exist.
“Never before had my gaze fallen upon them — upon these beings whose stillness holds all life within.”

Concept: Davide Angelozzi
Choreography & Dance: Davide Angelozzi, Elda Bartolacci

Irene K. - Two people perform a zeitgenössischer Tanz move indoors; one lifts the other horizontally in the air, long hair and arms extended back, both in casual jeans and shirts—a dynamic scene echoing Eupen's creative spirit.

La nature n'aime pas le vide

Can you hold me, carry me, endure me?

Two individuals encounter one another—initially cautious, tentative, almost fragile. They seek closeness. Tension grows from this approach—an ongoing interplay of attraction and distancing begins.

Choreography: Irene Kalbusch
Dance: Fabio Cavaleri, Pol Van den Broek

Irene K. - Two dancers perform an intimate, dramatic pose on stage, with one supporting the other in a deep backbend. The background is dark, highlighting their expressive movement.

Timeless passion

The waiting, the anticipation, the curiosity regarding the quality of what has already happened or is about to unfold. A constant cycle of pulling away, drawing closer, and drifting apart again—like poles facing one another.

Choreography & Dance: Claudio Pisa, Laura de Nicolao

Irene K. - A woman in a flowing white dress dances gracefully, evoking zeitgenössischer Tanz, near a large red flower centerpiece on a colorful, patterned floor, surrounded by red petals and backed by dramatic black—an evocative scene from Compagnie Irene K.

Irene K. - A person in a dark jacket and blue pants dances energetically on a lit stage at Festival Tanzende Stadt 2026, with the crowd watching below circular red lights in an industrial-style venue. The performance is part of Compagnie Irene K’s Euregio tour.

Lost

“Lost” tells an inner journey made of confusion, loneliness, and personal struggle. Through hip hop movements combined with the fluidity and emotional intensity of contemporary dance, the performer goes through different emotional states: doubt, anger, vulnerability, and inner emptiness.

Habiter

Who lives here? Who is waiting? Who is dreaming? Sometimes it only takes a glance for the imagination to start writing a story.

Inspired by the architecture and the many windows of the Pater Damian Secondary School, Fabio Cavaleri is developing a performance with students from the Eupen dance studio for the courtyard and the facade of the building.

Choreography: Fabio Cavaleri
Dance: Elodie Meyer, Isabelle Schmitz, Aurélie Emonts, Trecy Fohouo Sinkam, Martha Lentz

Lie to me

“Lie” represents the deceptive power of the mind. Yet while words are mutable, the body remains honest: true feelings and intentions reveal themselves in movement.

Choreography: Marisa Ragazzo
Dance: Elda Bartolacci, Davide Angelozzi
